Dayton History is proud to welcome the original “Party in the Park” back to its first home – Carillon Historical Park. Fleurs de Fête was first conceived by two friends, Vail Miller Sr. of Heidelberg Distributing and Mike Frank of Arrow Wine back in 1992. Vail Sr. and Mike wanted to bring wine out of the cellars and to the general public with an outdoor spring gathering. Their novel idea turned into Dayton’s premier wine and food festival, Fleurs de Fête and Carvers is proud to be a part of this special event in the past and again this year. Join the Carvers team and crowd for the 6th annual Buckeye Vodka’s Battle of the Bartenders at the Steam Plant in Downtown Dayton on Thursday, February 28 from 6:00 to 9:00. Over a dozen area bartenders will create their own signature Buckeye Vodka cocktail. You vote for who you think has the best drink. Each restaurant will also have food as well. Carvers lounge team is always a contender and has won the favorite twice. This event is 21 and up!

2018 – No 4Peat for Carvers – A Close 3rd Place: Electric Mule
Although this was not to be the year for the Carvers team, they were by far the most popular location in the building with their nasty (good) rendition of the Moscow Mule with a garnish of blood orange paired with a white Russian cupcake topped with Buckeye Vodka infused White chocolate buttercream – Yummy. The team definitely had the best drink experience with a secret ingredient from Brazil that was offered up first to prepare the pallet – it was a crowd favorite and everyone came back for more. Last year was a special night full of fine food, wine and love for everyone who visited Carvers on Valentine’s Day on Thursday evening. With over 400 reservations and plenty of roses, everyone had a great dining experience and a wonderful evening companionship – take a look at some of the folks that came out for a fabulous evening.
A great crowd filled the dining room and lounge to bring in the new year at the Carvers 2919 New Years Eve party. Everyone who attended had a great time in the lounge all decked out for the new year’s eve celebration with great food, favorite drinks and live music from the Shawn Stanley Trio.
